My Biography

I cannot give an account of my life without saying that I became a Christian in the early 80’s in a pretty powerful conversion. This is where my life began to take shape, direction and focus. I attended Northwest University from 1985-1989 and earned a Biblical Literature degree.

I have been on staff at Cedar Park since 1990. I started in ministry as a volunteer teaching a singles Sunday school class. After I grew the class down to one other person, I figured I had better work to improve my leadership – and still working on it. My portfolio responsibilities are providing oversight for the leaders and ministries of the Bothell church. I also supervise a number of the central ops – like IT and publications.

I am a certified Life and Leadership coach from Valwood in North Carolina. I am also connected with Ministry Coaching International in Bend, Oregon.

I am working on a Doctor of Ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary based in Springfield, Missouri. With hard work and the Lord’s help I will be in dissertation mode in the Spring of 2013

I have been married to my wife, Rosalind since 1995, her friends and I call her Roz (follow her on Twitter @rozgorc). We have two sons and two daughters. We live outside of Seattle, Washington.
